Adeje Town Hall has opened the application period for grants aimed at home rehabilitation. This initiative is being carried out jointly by the council and the Tenerife Cabildo as part of the Island Plan for Housing Rehabilitation.
The goal of this programme is to support the rehabilitation, adaptation, and maintenance of main residences in the municipality, with particular focus on homes belonging to individuals or households in vulnerable situations. Funding for the scheme includes approximately €30,000 from Adeje Town Hall and €70,000 from the Tenerife Cabildo.
Raquel Rodríguez Alonso, councillor for Community Wellbeing and Social Cohesion, emphasised: “Here at Adeje Town Hall we want to support families in vulnerable situations so they can access this grant. It will allow them to rehabilitate, adapt or carry out necessary maintenance on their homes, always under the supervision of the Social Services department.”
Applications can be processed online via the Adeje Town Hall online portal. Individuals who are not happy using digital channels may submit their application in person at the council’s Social Services offices.
Residents living in homes within the municipality who meet the eligibility requirements can apply. The application period is subject to the terms of the official call for applications.
