The Adeje Auditorium, managed by Adeje Town Hall's department of culture, has put together a June programme including theatre, classical music, a musical tribute, comedy and local productions. A total of seven performances will take place, starting on Saturday 7 June with the Costa Adeje Classics series and closing on 28 June with a comedy set by actor Salva Reina. The full programme is available on the Auditorium’s website.
The schedule opens this Saturday, 7 June, with Lunares en el alma, part of the Costa Adeje Classics series, which journeys through Spanish lyrical music with works by Manuel de Falla and Federico García Lorca. A 70-minute experience especially designed for those who appreciate detail, voice, and guitar.
The following day, Sunday 8 June, the stage will host the tribute performance Chavela, el último trago, featuring Caco Senante and Mariella Köhn. This theatrical and musical homage is built song by song, evoking the figure of Chavela Vargas through a dialogue with her lyrics and spirit.
On Friday 20 June, the comedy Una madre de película takes to the stage, starring Toni Acosta. The Canarian actress plays Eva María, a mother caught in a domestic dilemma that leads her on a hilarious and touching personal journey with a cinematic twist.
The Costa Adeje Classics series returns on Saturday 21 June with Bel Canto, a pocket opera offering accessible, contemporary renditions of some of the best-known arias from the operatic repertoire.
On Wednesday 26 June, Música para Hitler arrives in Adeje. Based on real events, the play explores the dilemma faced by musician Pau Casals when asked to perform for the Führer in 1943. Carlos Hipólito, Kiti Mánver and Cristóbal Suárez lead the cast of this award-winning production, which received the 2024 Mandarache Prize.
The next day, Thursday 27 June, Adeje’s Modern Music Orchestra (OMMA) will offer its annual concert, featuring teachers and students from the Municipal School of Music, Dance and Performing Arts, performing a varied repertoire full of rhythm and talent.
The June programme concludes on Saturday 28 June with the monologue Prohibido echarle cacahuetes al mono by actor and comedian Salva Reina, who recently received the 2025 Goya for Best Supporting Actor.
