Adeje will, for the fifth year running, host the scheduled sitting of the University entrance exams (PAU) in 2025. Students attending schools in the southern municipalities of Tenerife (from Granadilla to Santiago del Teide) will sit the exams from 4th to 7th June at the Las Torres Sports Pavilion and the Citizens’ Participation Centre, both located in Adeje.
The official timetable for PAU 2025, as approved by the Organising Committee for the University Entrance Exams (COPAU), is divided into a number of daily sessions and includes a wide range of subjects, both in the General and Elective phases.
On Wednesday 4 June, the session will begin with registration at 9:00am and the Spanish Language and Literature II exam at 9:30am. At 12:00pm, following the 11:30am registration, students will sit the Foreign Language II exam. That afternoon, at 4:00pm, they will take the History of Spain or History of Philosophy exam, depending on the option chosen for the General Phase.
On Thursday 5 June, the day will begin with the Mathematics II exam, part of the Science stream. At midday, the Foreign Language II exam will be held again, this time for students who are only sitting this subject in the Elective Phase. In the afternoon, there is a rescheduled sitting of the History of Spain or History of Philosophy exams for those who were unable to sit it the previous day due to scheduling conflicts.
Friday 6 June will be dedicated to specific subjects by discipline. In the morning, exams will be held for Performing Arts II, Technical Drawing II, Techniques of Graphic and Visual Expression, Geology and Environmental Sciences, Technology and Engineering II, and Business and Business Model Design. From 12:00pm onwards, exams will include History of Music and Dance, Design, Cultural and Artistic Movements, Greek II and Chemistry. In the afternoon, students will sit exams in subjects such as Choir and Vocal Technique II, Artistic Foundations, Physics and Geography.
Finally, Saturday 7 June will be reserved primarily for subjects that could not be taken earlier due to timetable clashes. That morning, exams will be held in Applied Technical Drawing for the Visual Arts and Design II, History of Art, Dramatic Literature and Biology. In an additional afternoon session, exams will take place in Artistic Drawing II, Applied Mathematics for Social Sciences II, Latin II and Music Analysis II.
PAU 2025 exceptions
In the case of a clash between two subjects scheduled for the same session, students must first sit the subject that appears earlier on the official timetable. The second subject will be rescheduled for the Saturday afternoon session, provided that no more than two rescheduled subjects are required.
