Entemanser, the company responsible for managing the entire water cycle and supplying water to over 50,000 residents in Adeje, carries out daily inspections and repairs of the potable water network. More importantly, it strives to prevent problems before they occur — using not only the latest technology but also the best possible team of professionals.
Up to 30 employees are involved in the management and maintenance of the water supply network. “They are the heart of the company, the ones who make this work. Their high level of commitment ensures that the service is delivered under optimal conditions and that any incidents that arise throughout the year are resolved quickly,” underlined Pedro Antonio Gómez, Entemanser’s production manager.
The councillor responsible for Municipal Services at Adeje Town Hall, Epifanio Díaz Hernández, praised the work of Entemanser staff and their dedication to the municipality. “They are always on hand to respond to any incident as it occurs and are also keen to support educational, cultural, festive, and social activities, showing super commitment to Adeje,” he commented.
These measures, together with Entemanser’s continuous and systematic work, enhance the service provided to residents while increasing the efficiency and performance of the network. At the same time, unnecessary water loss is prevented, contributing to sustainable development and significantly reducing service costs. In this way, the company reaffirms its commitment to Adeje residents by implementing actions to optimise the management of infrastructure and water resources, following principles of efficiency and sustainability.
To maintain close control over the drinking water network, the service operates with remote reading meters installed at over 22,000 supply points across the municipality. Combined with data from nearly 200 flow meters located at reservoir outlets and throughout the hydraulic sectors into which the network is divided, this allows the integrated operations centre, based at Entemanser’s central offices, to pinpoint the exact areas where water loss is occurring — enabling immediate repairs.
