Adeje Town Hall will encourage the formation of associations and festival committees via the 'Escuela de Participación' (School of Participation)

The Department of Citizen Participation offers new courses and workshops to improve management and promote the use of the digital certificate

27 january 2025
The Department of Citizen Participation of Adeje Town Hall, headed by Adolfo Alonso Ferrera, has launched the Escuela de Participación, or School of Citizen Participation, an initiative designed to strengthen the fabric of local groups through a diverse range of courses and workshops. This proposal is aimed at associations, festival committees, sports clubs, and parents' associations, seeking to promote more active and organised participation by all residents.

Alonso Ferrera highlighted the importance of this project as a tool to update associations and ensure their proper functioning. "This body not only enhances training but also encourages generational renewal within festival committees, helping them adapt to new administrative requirements, especially in the use of the digital certificate."
Through this programme, Adeje Town Hall reaffirms its commitment to empowering Adeje's residents and encouraging active participation in municipal life. The workshops address key topics such as document management, digital signatures, designing social projects, and generational renewal within festival committees.

Objectives of the School
The aim of this initiative is to equip associations with the skills for more efficient management and better project development, promote the use of the digital certificate to ensure smooth communication with the administration, and facilitate generational renewal within festival committees.

Planned Training Sessions
The training sessions, in Spanish, planned under this new entity include workshops designed to strengthen the management and operational capacity of associations.
