Mujeres World Fest - and a concert to remember

The macro concert will take place on August 27th

13 july 2022

Mujeres World Fest/Women World Fest, taking place over the coming weeks in Costa Adeje, is breaking moulds, and will be the first festival in Spain, and one of the only ones in the world, which gives prominence to women in all walks of life - culture, music, literature, cinema, sustainability.

Music will bind the event together and tickets for the main concert in Golf Costa Adeje on August 27th from 6pm, are now on sale. The concert will feature mostly female performers, though not exclusively. Mujeres World Fest says, "we understand equality as a value of the whole of society to be shared among all sectors.”

There will be over 8 hours of music and performances live on stage in what will be the music event of the summer, with artists such as Mala Rodríguez from Spain, Chilean artist Mon Laferte and Silvana Estrada from Mexico, who is performing for the first time in the Canaries, as is María José Llergo.  Also on stage will be Caracoles performing their new work, ‘Euphorbia’.

The organisers of the macro-event promise many surprises during the evening and there will also be an eco-market and a gastro zone for all to enjoy.  Tickets are €35, from www.tickety.es and www.tomaticket.es.

In the run up to the main concert other events are taking place, including conferences, film showings, art, and exhibitions. More information on the concert and parallel events can be found @mujeresworldfest online.
