The municipal radio station will be joining in the celebrations for International Women’s Day

The municipal station Radio Sur Adeje (107.9fm), overseen by councillor Adolfo Alonso Ferrera, will be celebrating International Women’s Day tomorrow with special programming throughout the morning and a live broadcast from Siam Mall from 11am. “Radio Sur Adeje is celebrating 25 years on the air and this year to mark this important anniversary we are taking the radio to different parts of the borough, and March 8th is one of those occasions. This is part of our commitment to the battle for full equal rights for women in all walks of life”, said the councillor.
The morning music programme, Sport Music, will feature music from a variety of women singers and musicians from all over the world. This will be followed by A ver qué Onda with David Urbano and Dani Ramos and will continue the theme of women in music and news.
From 11am on the stage at Siam Mall there will be a special programme bringing together Viva La Vida and Dejate de Cuentos, under the direction of Nacho Palacio and presented by Monica Radován Pineda. There will be interviews, live music from Diana Pérez and Ainhoa Aguilar, a round table discussion with members of the Adeje equality council and much more.
