The University of La Laguna campus in Adeje is hosting the first international conference on communication investigation and transference, INTRACOM, with in-person and online participation, debating new horizons in investigation and communication transfer. INTRACOM is organised by the departments of economics, business and tourism, social sciences, and communication of the universities of La Laguna, País Vasco, Alicante and Barcelona, in collaboration with the Adeje council.
The conference will take place on December 7th, 9th and 10th in the Adeje Cultural Centre and the University of La Laguna (ULL). Sessions will be both in-person and online, with afternoon sessions in particular open to those from Latin America (given the time difference).
The course will be run with sector professionals in mind, looking at the criteria that can direct public communication, investigation and communication transfer. Those studying at doctorate level will also find this a useful event.
Themes to be addressed will include communication transfer at national and European levels, communication business models in the digital era, new communication work niches, the development of communication models in times of crisis (pandemics, wars, catastrophes), etc. Also under discussion will be digital marketing strategies, publicity and public relations in the new age, examining proposals for improving messages at institutional and corporative levels. The use of social media and communciation and social change will also feature.
