La Quinta – fibre-optic connection on the cards

All of the homes in the zone will have a fast internet speed connection

The Adeje council, through the Works and Municipal Services area, with Councillor Esther Rivera in charge, has said that the La Quinta zone will soon have fibre-optic availability.  All homes in the zone should have will have a fast internet speed connection.  That means that all the houses in Calle La Serrería, Calle Los Llanos and Calle Santa Margarita will be included.
 
“This will meet a demand that has been there for a while, the residents living in the midlands and higher up need this kind of service and delivery of fibre-optic has been one of our goals, to work to ensure that the whole borough of Adeje will have the kind of internet connection they need”, outlined the councillor.
 
The council have been talking with the service provider, in this case Movistar, who will be installing the infrastructure needed for zones that don’t have direct fibre-optic connections and other related telecommunications services. 
 
Rivero Vargas commented, “in 2018 we were able to guarantee coverage in Ifonche and we are continuing with the management of the service to the rest of the borough, have already included Las Moraditas and in parallel we are working in Taucho, with delivery depending on the operators timeframe in carrying out the necessary works”.
