26 june 2020
For the first time the Adeje Youth Centre is offering people the chance to obtain the B1 University of Cambridge English certificate, with a four month course starting on July 14th with the final exam in the autumn.

There will be 2 hour tutorials every week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 11am – 12 noon, and when the school year begins again, the classes will be from 4pm – 5pm.

Anyone interested in working for the certificate will need to take an initial test and for that you will need to book an appointment, call 922 78 18 08.  There are only 10 places on the course – and there will be a reserve list.

The course is within the ‘Nómada’ programme and is to help those 15 years and over in working towards social and work integration.  A B1 cert will show that you have mastered the basics of English and now have practical language skills for everyday use. Those wishing to apply should be between 15 and 22 years of age and currently studying in 4th year of secondary school or higher, and be on the Adeje padrón.
