Adeje will host the twelfth edition of the Labour Breakfasts on 3 March, organised by Gehocan and Adeje Town Hall’s Department of Economic Development and Employment. This initiative brings together sector specialists to analyse recent legislative developments in employment law and human resources. The event will take place at the Costa Adeje Tourism Development Centre (CDTCA) and will include labour authorities and speakers from firms such as Garrigues, Montero Aramburu & Gómez-Villares Atencia, Aguilar Abogados and PwC, as well as territorial representatives of the Labour Inspectorate.
Gehocan’s Labour Breakfasts provide professionals, business owners and human resources managers with an opportunity to update their knowledge through discussion and networking. This year’s edition will address key issues relating to the new employment regulatory framework, staff management and emerging corporate obligations.
The councillor for Economic Development and Employment, Alberto Álvarez Jiménez, highlighted the importance of these meetings, which create a forum for dialogue and knowledge-sharing, helping businesses and professionals in the municipality to adapt to regulatory changes.
Alberto Álvarez also reaffirmed Adeje Town Hall’s commitment to initiatives that support the local business community. “Facilitating access to high-quality information and to experienced and respected experts in the sector will enable our municipality to continue progressing in business and economic terms,” he added.
Gehocan is a non-profit professional association of human resources managers and company directors in the Canary Islands. For more than a decade, it has been organising these events in collaboration with Adeje Town Hall’s Department of Economic Development and Employment, bringing legislative updates in employment matters closer to the business community through dialogue and the exchange of experiences.
