Adeje Town Hall has signed a collaboration agreement with the non-profit organisation Cesal to support the integration of the most vulnerable unemployed people into the labour market. This agreement will make it possible to work jointly on training and employment projects, including training placements, to help this group find employment suited to their personal circumstances and characteristics.
The Councillor for Economic Activity Promotion and Employment at Adeje Town Hall, Mercedes Vargas Delgado, explained that “this agreement with Cesal strengthens the Town Hall’s commitment to people who face the greatest difficulties in accessing employment. Our objective is to create real opportunities that are adapted to their circumstances and abilities”.
Mercedes Vargas also highlighted that labour market integration is a fundamental tool for social inclusion. “With this initiative, we are taking another step in supporting the most vulnerable groups, helping them regain confidence and providing them with tools and new opportunities that contribute to improving their quality of life”, she added.
The representative of the Cesal Association, Esther Cabello Loro, expressed her gratitude to Adeje Town Hall for an agreement aimed at improving employability and labour market integration for unemployed people in the municipality.
This agreement opens up new avenues for collaboration to implement the employment and training pathways that Cesal is developing in the south of Tenerife, within the framework of the Empleo Vivo programme, co-financed by the ESF+ and the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy.
Cesal is a non-governmental organisation for international cooperation that works to improve the living conditions of people in vulnerable situations. Through projects in the fields of education and employment, Cesal promotes social inclusion in different countries.
