On Thursday 8 January, the 2026 Women’s Spanish Futsal Super Cup was presented in Adeje, a top-level fixture on the national sports calendar which will be held in the municipality on 31 January and 1 February. The event took place at 12.30 pm at the Mirador La Paloma and included the draw that determined the semi-final pairings, which are as follows: Melilla CD Torreblanca vs Reyco Burela FS and STV Roldán vs Futsi Atlético Navalcarnero.
Adeje Councillor for Sports, Adolfo Alonso Ferrera, said “hosting the Women’s Spanish Futsal Super Cup strengthens Adeje’s position on the national sports map and highlights our commitment to top-level women’s sport”. Alonso Ferrera also pointed out that “the Las Torres sports hall meets all the requirements for a competition of this level, as has already been demonstrated by the national and international championships it has hosted”. He added that “events like this generate sporting, social and economic activity and underline Adeje’s image as a destination committed to sport and equality”.
Also present at the press conference were the president of the Tenerife Inter-Island Football Federation, Alejandro Mansito, the president of the National Futsal Committee, José Miguel Monje, and the secretary of the National Futsal Committee, Paco Sedano. All of them highlighted the importance of Adeje once again hosting a national-level competition. The draw for the semi-finals was conducted by Pino Plasencia, mountaineer and alpinist, who was also named Adeje’s best female sportsperson of 2025.
The competition will be played in a Final Four format at a single venue, as has been the case in recent seasons, and will bring together four clubs that have stood out given their results in the main women’s futsal competitions in Spain. Taking part in the draw were Futsi Atlético Navalcarnero, champions of the Primera FS Iberdrola and current Super Cup holders, STV Roldán, league runners-up, Reyco Burela FS, Copa de la Reina champions, and Melilla CD Torreblanca, finalists in the cup competition and the highest-ranked team in the regular season among the non-champions.
The Las Torres sports hall in Adeje will host the decisive matches of this Women’s Spanish Super Cup, which will open the 2026 title calendar. Futsi Atlético Navalcarnero will defend the trophy they won last season after defeating Melilla CD Torreblanca in the final and come to Adeje as the most successful team in the competition’s history, with eight titles. Reyco Burela FS are next, with six Super Cups.
The Women’s Spanish Super Cup has an honours list that reflects the evolution of women’s futsal in Spain. Alongside the titles won by Futsi Atlético Navalcarnero and Reyco Burela FS are those claimed by Femesala Elche, FSF Móstoles, UCAM Murcia, Cajasur Deportivo Córdoba and Ponte Ourense, consolidating the tournament as one of the sport’s leading national showcases.
