INFOSEX Adeje is a free, confidential and anonymous testing service
1 december 2021
Today, December 1st, is World Aids Day. Every year the Adeje council joins with many others in marking the day, and reviewing the facilities and resources available for those with AIDS and their families.
As a solidarity gesture the Plaza de España will be lit in red this evening to mark the day and a banner will hang on the front of the Town Hall.
Aids is still with us, as are other sexually transmitted diseases for the sexually active population, if we don’t use care and caution. The council has launched a care campaign on issues of sexual health, and to let people know about the InfoSex Adeje information and rapid testing service, supported by the department of public health. This service is open to all, and encourages those who may be in risk groups to consider an appointment – you will be seen quickly and do not need to be in possession of a public health medical card to access the service.
You can contact the service via WhatsApp on 627971505, or email infosexadeje@adeje.es. Within 24 hours you will receive a reply from the service giving you a date and time for your appointment. This service is 100% free, confidential and anonymous.
INFOSEX ADEJE is in the offices of the Adeje health Department, in C/ Tinerfe el Grande, 32, Edificio de Hacienda y Salud, 1º Floor. Public hours are 8am to 5pm, with prior appointment.
